Thank you for your support of the 2009 bazaar. A total of £10,500 was raised from the village for charity.

Following 18 consecutive years of the bazaar we have decided to take a breather in 2010, so Two’s Company will not be hosting the bazaar in the village hall this coming November. The Orston School Association will however still be running the school Christmas Fair, and Two’s Company will take a stall there.

From monies raised in 2008, over £2000 was sent to Cambodia, and that year 2 wells were built with the funds. From the 2009 bazaar we again sent around £2500, and they are debating whether to spend the money on 2 more wells or a solar light project. A Camodian based company, Hidden Cambodia, has been managing these projects on our behalf. If anybody from the village would like to visit Cambodia to see the wells Orston have donated, or just to see the temples, Hidden Cambodia would be very willing to put together a travel plan for you.

Attached are some details of a charity run two North Americans are doing to support the well building. It gives a flavour of what respect people have for Hidden Cambodia and their work.
