·        Reported blocked drains outside the White House on Loughbon, & outside Strasburgers’ house on Hilltop – Clerk to write re this.

·        Reported No 3 light on Hilltop not working, also old Hiiltop sign not having been removed – Clerk to contact relevant bodies re these points.

·        Reported horse chestnut trees on Lombard St growing too big, Cllr Gunn to ask Notts CC to trim.

·        Obtaining quote for replacement Best Kept Village post.

Cllr Davidson/Cllr Wheeler

·        Reported recent update meeting with Village Hall Committee; noted that the cheapest quote for the proposed extension was £100,000, which seemed excessive. It was thought that there may be some possible funding sources. The Parish Council view is that a simple small meeting room is required, at a lower cost.

The Village Hall Committee had reported that Rushcliffe B C had rejected the grant application towards the cost of the proposed car park, & it will therefore be difficult to fund this.

  Cllr Oates

·        Reported positive feedback re the newsletter.

  Cllr Gunn

·        Reported thanking the workmen for making a good job of the repairs to the Stinkdyke bridge. He will ask them to remove the remaining plank & cone.

·        Will obtain a price for a replacement strimmer.

·        It was agreed to reimburse the cost of a replacement part for the lawnmower, £4.70

    Cllr Henson

·       Reported a disappointing response from the Church to the concerns expressed to the services always being at 9am.It was noted that there would be a review after 12 months.

·       Will continue to deal with the £250 on offer from Rushcliffe B C for new trees.
